Our New Home

We FINALLY bought a house!! Things were getting a little cramped in our 2 bedroom apartment. So over the summer we started looking. We knew what area we wanted to be in. So the search began. We feel very blessed to have found this house which fits our families needs. Afer packing up the apartment, moving, fixing up the new house and unpacking, it finally feels like home. So here it is "OUR NEW HOME"!!

School and Flag Football

So I know this post is long over due. with buying our house and moving it got put on the back burner. Cole started Kindergarten this year. He was so excited to start a new school and take the bus. Cole also wanted to play flag football. Not exactly what he expected. He wants to play tackle football. All in due time. He LOVES and I mean LOVES playing football. They worked on and practiced the skills they learned (hand-offs, fumbles, running drills etc). At the end they had a mini SUPERBOWL. Each team (Cole was on the JETS. Daddy is a GIANTS fan so hopefully next year we can get on the GIANTS) went against another team and each player got a turn to run the ball. It was such a joy to see cole having fun playing a sport that he loves!!

First day of school. It will be interesting to see the answers change each year to what he wants to be. sometimes it changes on a daily basis.

Leaves, Pumpkins and Halloween

I LOVE this time of year! I love seeing the leaves change colors. when the air is crisp and cool. The smell of apple and pumpkin pie. And the taste of apple cidar. This fall was full of fun! We moved, went pumpkin picking with our good friends the Cobo's, carved pumpkins. And once again Halloween was postponed, this time due to Hurricane Sandy. That wasn't fun, but at least we got to go trick-or-treating :). For Halloween at our house this year we had a "NINJA" and a "BUMBLE BEE"!!!

Cole's Pre-K Graduation

It is finally here. Our big boy has graduated from Pre-K. Now it's onto Kindergarten :) The theme was Western. They sang songs, said poems and did a dance to Cotton-Eyed Joe! Here are some of the highlights from that night. The Graduate with his diploma:)

Superhero Monster Trucks

This past month Rob and some friends took their boys to see the Monster Truck Show at Metlife Stadium. It was Cole's first Monster Truck Show and it won't be his last. He couldn' wait to tell me all about it the next morning. Some of the trucks that were there were... SPIDERMAN, CAPTAIN AMERICA (cole's favorite), WOLVERINE, IRONMAN, GRAVE DIGGER AND HOT WHEELS! The first 2 pictures are of the trucks all lined up getting ready to show there stunts.
Protective ear gear, because it gets loud. Cole's friend Andre sitting next to him:)
