Motherhood

I recently read a book by Jane Clayson Johnson titled I Am a Mother. The book reflects on the choice to be a mother and how society views that choice. I love this quote from the book "You matter, because a Mothers work is Gods work." How true that quote is. We have been entrusted with these children by our heavenly father, to guide and teach them. What a special blessing that is. I LOVE being a MOM!! I love watching Cole experience and discover things for the very first time. (i know rob does also). I love seeing his face light up with amazement at the things he discovers. To me there is no greater gift than that of Motherhood.

I also wanted to add a few "Coleisms"

his favorite shape must be a circle, because he loves balls, bubbles and balloons (okay a balloon is not exactly a circle but close enough).

he gives the best hugs and kisses

he loves "mo-mo" (elmo) and "cookie" (cookie monster).

he also loves cars and trucks

he says "moe peas" when he wants more of something.

he says night, night when its bed time.

when he gets a boo-boo he needs you to kiss it right away.

I love my "SILLY" boy!!

Motorcycle Show NYC & Disney on Ice

We have had a busy couple of weekends. First we took Cole in NYC to see the motorcycle show. He went on his first ferry ride. Then the following weekend we took him to see Disney on ice. Here are a few of the pictures from the two events.

"Look Out Daddy" I'm driving this motorcycle!!

I want one of these when I get bigger.

I think this one's a little big for me!

Cole clapping when Mickey and Minnie were rescued. He was yelling No No when the villian captured them. His reactions to the show were so CUTE!!

It's A New Year!!

Sorry it has taken so long for me to post these pictures. I guess time just got away from me. The following pictures are some of our favorites from the holiday's. We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!

Our family christmas photo.

Cole playing with his workshop from SANTA and his train table and trains from Mommy and Daddy. The expression on his face was "Priceless"!

Opening christmas presents!! It'a Tickle Me Elmo!!

Baking Holiday cookies. Cole was more interested in eating the frosting off the cookie, than decorating them!

Visiting N.Y.C. Cole and Mommy in Time Square.

Cole and Daddy next to the big T-Rex at Toys R Us in N.Y.C.

Family photo in front of the tree at Rockerfeller Center!

This is one of the famous houses to see at Christmas time. Cole loved seeing all the lights on the house and sitting at the desk to write a letter to Santa.
