Cole's Pre-K Graduation

It is finally here. Our big boy has graduated from Pre-K. Now it's onto Kindergarten :) The theme was Western. They sang songs, said poems and did a dance to Cotton-Eyed Joe! Here are some of the highlights from that night. The Graduate with his diploma:)

Superhero Monster Trucks

This past month Rob and some friends took their boys to see the Monster Truck Show at Metlife Stadium. It was Cole's first Monster Truck Show and it won't be his last. He couldn' wait to tell me all about it the next morning. Some of the trucks that were there were... SPIDERMAN, CAPTAIN AMERICA (cole's favorite), WOLVERINE, IRONMAN, GRAVE DIGGER AND HOT WHEELS! The first 2 pictures are of the trucks all lined up getting ready to show there stunts.
Protective ear gear, because it gets loud. Cole's friend Andre sitting next to him:)

We decided to take advantage of the BEAUTIFUL weather we have been having and take some family pictures outside. We went to the Willowwood Arboretum where they have some old buildings and lush greenery to take the pictures. These were some of my favorites!!

Our Sweet Angel is One

The first year of Chloe's life has flown by. She turned 1 this month. Chloe is a happy, sweet, loving one year old. She LOVES her "Big Brother". She always wants to play and be with him. Chloe makes the silliest grin on her face when she is happy. Its hard to describe and we have yet to get it in a picture. She won't do it if you are trying to take a picture. One day we will! We are so blessed to have Chloe in our family! She makes us laugh and keeps us on our toes!! At her 1 year check-up she weighed 20 lbs and is 28 inches. Chloe loves to take a bath. When she hears the water running she darts for the bathroom. I think its all about being naked, because she hates to get dressed. She loves chasing after her Big Brother. Her favorite foods include: pasta, bread, all fruits/vegetables, the gerber puffs, chicken and rice. Chloe has 2 teeth (on the bottom). She has taken 20 steps, ( the first 5 were to Cole). Its ony a matter of time before she is off and running. She loves her soft blanket and white teddy bear named "snowflake". She needs both to take a nap or go to bed. Once she has both, she pops her thumb in her mouth and goes to sleep! It is the cutest thing! We Love You Chloe!!

Birthday Pictures

I took Cole and Chloe out to the park to take some pictures of them for their birthday. Cole pretended he was Wolverine, Batman and Captain America. Chloe we dressed in her ballerina tutu!!

Carnival and Superhero's

Cole and Chloe share the same Birthday month. Infact, their birthday's are 5 days apart. Since Cole was turning 5 and Chloe was turning 1, we decided to have a combined party. A Carnival Theme for Chloe and a Superhero's Theme for Cole. Chloe's Carnival Cake with popcorn (marshmellow) cupcakes!
Cole's Superhero Cupcakes!
A father of one of my students owns a hotdog cart. So we asked if he would mind bringing it and serving hotdogs to go along with the Carnival theme! The hotdogs were a big hit!!
We also had a Cotton Candy Machine...
A Bouncy Castle...
And Dan the Balloon Guy!
For our "SUPERHERO" we had our nephews put on a skit which involoved trying to steal the birthday cupcakes. Batman and Spiderman saved the birthday!!
Happy 5th Birthday Superhero Cole!
Happy 1st Birthday Princess Chloe!
No birthday would be complete without letting Chloe go crazy with her birthday cake :)
